Privacy

A plain description of what this website does with information about you. Short, because there is very little to describe.

What this site collects: nothing

  • No account. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to.
  • No forms. There is no field anywhere on this site to type into. The only way to contact us is to send an email from your own mail program.
  • No analytics or advertising. No tracking pixel, no tag manager, no advertising network, no third-party script of any kind.
  • No cookies, and no browser storage. This site sets none. If your browser shows a cookie banner elsewhere and not here, that is why.
  • No outside requests. Every page loads only from this site. No external font, no content-delivery network, no embedded video or map.

The one thing that is not zero

This site is hosted, and like any hosted website its server records requests — the page asked for, the time, the browser type, and the network address it came from. That is how a web server works and how outages get diagnosed. We do not combine those records with anything else, and there is nothing else here to combine them with.

If you email us

Emailing hello@weknowwounds.com is the only way to give us your details, and it is entirely your choice. We use your address to reply and — if that is what you asked for — to tell you when the Council starts publishing. We do not sell it or pass it to advertisers.

Ask us to delete it at any time, at the same address.

Please do not send patient information

This is a public editorial site. It holds no patient records and has no connection to any clinical system. Do not email us patient names, images or case details — including in a question about a case. If you need to describe a case, remove everything that could identify the person first.
